Dohn Dye is a name synonymous with pageantry and style throughout the state of Alabama. Dohn has been in involved in all phases of pageantry for the past 15 years. His love of pageantry was born and fostered while growing up in Talladega, Alabama, and has since taken him around the globe. While a student at the University of Alabama, Dohn turned his passion into a part time career when he founded “To Dye For, Inc.” a company that specialized in pageant and image consultation. As a “pageant coach” he had the opportunity to train countless local, state, and national titleholders. A much sought after judge, Dohn has served on over 200 panels in 15 states.

In September 2007, Dohn became host of a weekly segment on CBS 42’s Wake Up Alabama! With the title “Resident Expert on Fabulousness “, he covers fashion, celebrity gossip, style and social events throughout the metropolitan Birmingham area. A lifelong advocate of volunteerism, Dohn has both written and orchestrated both state and national award winning community service projects. He currently serves as board chairman of “Clara’s Closet” an organization that provides workplace appropriate clothing and job training for women in crisis.

Throughout his career, Dohn has made it his personal mission to empower women, and fully believes in the ability of pageantry to do so. “Dream bigger. Work harder. Want more. “Has for years been the motto of “To Dye For, Inc.” and Dohn is thrilled to continue to instill these values in young women as Executive Director of the Miss Alabama USA/Miss Alabama Teen USA pageants.
